About This Project
The Beno Reevo is a hubless e-bike whose maker abandoned it, leaving owners with a dead phone app. Reevo Display replaces the whole app with an ESP32-S3 touchscreen that talks to the bike directly over BLE, with no cloud, SIM or account. It shows a live speedometer, battery percentage and a resettable trip odometer, and gives manual control of the headlight, badge light, kickstand lock and assist level. Extras include a touch-PIN unlock, a brake warning that flashes the lights, a pedal-assist timeout after 10 idle minutes, master-code recovery, and a built-in Wi-Fi access point with a web console and full setup manual. The default target is the Freenove FNK0104B board with a 2.8in capacitive touchscreen, powered at 5V from the bike's mainboard or a USB battery, and a two-piece printable enclosure is included.
